About the author
Gerri is the author of the award-winning history book Saving Mona Lisa: The Battle to Protect the Louvre from the Nazis. She was a freelance journalist for global organizations for many years.
She is a board member of Jewish Records Indexing-Poland (JRI-Poland) and its Ożarów and Krzeszów town leader, JewishGen’s Verkhnedneprovsk and Kremenchuk town leader and a member of the Jewish Genealogical Society of New York.
